Achieving Equal Chances for Patients and Health care providers
Objectives:
- Network of ESGO Diplomats who will advocate for high standards in gynaecologic oncology care.
- Addressing country-specific challenges through tailored initiatives and advocacy for each country.
- Promoting ESGO-accredited centres and certified professionals to ensure and enhance access to high-quality care.
- Raising awareness about geographical disparities in healthcare and advocating for equitable access to care.
Key activities:
- Organize educational events for local medical communities to disseminate knowledge and promote best practices in gynaecologic oncology. Local general public (journalists, politicians, etc.) will be invited.
- Promoting accredited centres and certified professionals to ensure that patients have access to high-quality care and expertise, through ESGO-endorsed meetings, etc.
- Engaging in advocacy efforts to address geographic challenges in gynaecologic cancer care, collaborating with local stakeholders.
The project is piloted during 2025 - 2026.
