World Gynecologic Oncology Day is global awareness project that raises awareness about gynaecological cancer prevention and aims to lift the burden of stigma surrounding these cancers.
The campaign, organised by ESGO and ENGAGe, has been running since 2019 and has grown exponentially every year. In 2026, there were over 400 events organised by 235 organisations from 63 different countries, as well as support from the European Union institutions.
World Gynecologic Oncology Day takes place every year on September 20th.
