- (1) Open to physicians who have completed a training programme in gynaecological oncology or related subspecialties, are fully licensed, and are actively practising. Applicants must demonstrate a professional interest in the study, prevention, or treatment of gynaecological cancer.
- (2) Open to individuals with a professional interest in gynaecological oncology who are residents aged 35 or under (under 36 as of January 1) without a permanent position, or trainees, fellows, and unlicensed physicians in training over 35. Applicants aged 35 or under must upload a valid ID showing their name and date of birth in Latin characters. Trainees and fellows over 35 must provide a formal declaration of trainee status; this discounted rate is limited to a maximum of three years.
- (3) Open to former physicians in gynaecological oncology or related subspecialties who have retired from active practice and are not actively practising. The membership fee excludes the journal subscription, which can be added as an optional extra.
- (4) Open to students (full-time in a university degree programme – Bachelor's, Master's, integrated MD, or academic PhD/Doctoral program) and non-physician professionals with a dedicated interest in gynaecological oncology (e.g., nurses, patient advocates, researchers, administrators, and managers). Students must provide a proof of current student enrolment or a student ID, others provide a brief statement explaining their professional role. The membership fee excludes the journal subscription, which can be added as an optional extra. This discount does not apply to clinical residents, doctors in specialty training, or individuals in paid medical/healthcare employment.

This category is for residents without a permanent position who are not yet legally licensed to practice medicine and are under the age of 35; and for trainees and fellows above the age of 35 who are not yet legally licensed to practice medicine; and have a professional interest in the study, prevention, or treatment of gynaecological cancer. A formal declaration of trainee status must be provided with the application (declaration form).

Voting rights are strictly limited to ‘Full members’. All new members initially hold interim status. Formal membership approval and subsequent activation of voting rights occurs during the Council’s biannual reviews.

The membership period runs for a calendar year, valid from 1 January to 31 December. The duration depends on the date you pay your renewal fee. For example, if you pay your fee in June, your membership will only be valid until the end of the calendar year. However, if you sign up as a new member in October during our call for new members, there is a bonus period where you can gain 3 months of free membership (Oct-Dec) complimentary.

ESGO members who are 40 years old or younger (or in training, regardless of age) are automatically considered as ENYGO members once their membership is paid and active.

The certificate will be available for download as of 1 January in the myESGO portal.

This is a new membership portal from where you can renew your membership, access the membership benefits, submit abstracts to the Congress, register to the Congress, register to various events (as of 1 January) and access documentation related to your membership or the society.
