The European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) is a not-for-profit association established in 1983.
Today, ESGO brings together a global community of over 3,000 members, early-career doctors, patient advocacy groups, centres of excellence, and research networks across Europe and beyond.

Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of women with gynaecological cancers through advocacy, prevention, research, excellence in care and education.

Guidelines Committee
Leads the development of ESGO’s multidisciplinary clinical guidelines, ensuring evidence-based, high-quality recommendations.

Defines the strategic direction of the ESGO Congress – Europe’s largest gathering of gynaecological oncologists.
Training & Education Committee
Shapes ESGO’s educational strategy, including courses, webinars and eAcademy.

Leads initiatives such as publications, conferences and courses focused on the prevention of gynaecological cancers.
