Advanced Course on the Multidisciplinary Team Management of Cervical Cancer

This 2-day course aims to enable practical implementation of advanced concepts and techniques in daily practice with a focus on the multidisciplinary management of locally advanced cervical cancer.
The management of cervical cancer is becoming increasingly complex, driven by advances in surgical techniques, radiotherapy, systemic therapies, and multidisciplinary care models. Optimising outcomes for patients with locally advanced or recurrent disease requires seamless collaboration between surgeons, radiation oncologists, and medical oncologists. Despite growing evidence and updated international guidelines, practical, interdisciplinary training that integrates contemporary treatment strategies with real-world clinical decision-making remains limited.
The course provides practical insights applicable immediately in clinical practice and engages participants in high-level discussions on complex and controversial cases. Led by international experts in surgery, radiation, and systemic therapy, the program offers an integrated learning experience in this rapidly evolving field.
Learning objectives
- Improve knowledge and skills in the management of locally advanced cervical cancer.

- Understand how to manage this disease and how to choose between the current therapeutic options.

Target audience
This course is designed for experienced gynaecological oncologists and radiation oncologists wishing to upskill in the high-level treatment of complex locally advanced cervical cancer, including both the primary tumour and recurrence.
Participants should have a specific interest in the implementation of advanced surgical and radiation techniques and in optimising the multidisciplinary approach in their practice.
We highly encourage multidisciplinary teams of gynaecological oncologists, radiation oncologists and medical oncologists to participate – to foster in-depth discussion and collaborative decision-making.

Abstract Submission
The lectures will be followed by discussions based on case presentations to increase participant interaction and application of knowledge.
Abstracts may be submitted as a multidisciplinary pair (combining a gynaecological oncologist, radiation oncologist, or medical oncologist from the same institution) or by a single attendee.
