The GESEA Expert Level 3 Oncology Diploma represents the highest level of surgical accreditation within the GESEA Educational Programme. The certification was developed as a collaboration between ESGO and ESGE.
The programme combines structured training, clinical exposure and rigorous skills-based assessment. The diploma certifies expert proficiency in complex oncological laparoscopic procedures and adherence to the highest European standards of surgical quality and patient safety.
Programme structure
The GESEA Expert Level 3 Oncology Diploma consists of three core components:
- eLearning modules in advanced oncological procedures
- Clinical attachment (minimum four weeks) in an ESGO-accredited centre in Europe
- Objective surgical skills assessment based on submitted procedural videos
Who is it for?
The programme is designed for experienced gynaecological oncologists with advanced laparoscopic skills who wish to obtain formal European-level recognition of their expert surgical competence.
