Candidacy Programme
With its centre accreditation programme, ESGO seeks to improve the quality of care for patients with gynaecological cancers and aims to have at least one accredited centre in each European country.
However, this goal has been difficult to meet for smaller countries with lower populations, limited resources and without national centralisation.
In 2022, ESGO initiated the Candidacy Programme to assist centres that may not initially meet accreditation requirements but have the potential to improve and provide comparable quality of care.
Application process
Who can apply for the programme?
Any gynaecological oncology centres in countries that do not yet have an ESGO-accredited centre in either training or treatment.
How does my centre apply?
If you are interested, send an email to adminoffice@www.esgo.org.
When can my centre apply?
There is no specific application period, centres are welcome to contact the ESGO office throughout the year and express their interest to join the programme.
