ENITEC

Mission

ENITEC’s mission is to unite multidisciplinary experts on uterine cancer to promote high-impact translational research with a common goal to improve the health and well-being of women with endometrial cancer.

Objectives

1. Unite leading experts – bring together professionals from clinical practice, applied research, and translational research.
2. Foster data and sample collection and sharing– establish robust standards for translational research, including but not limited to data and sample collection.
3. Promote excellence through collaborative research – facilitate cooperation among academic groups in the network, with external partners, and with industry partners to conduct high-quality research, accelerating the translation of research findings into clinical practice.
4. Support opportunities for grants and funding – facilitate and support collaboration to apply for local, regional, European and international grants, thereby enabling the advancement of ENITEC research.
5. Promote the education and development of clinical and translational members. This includes:

• Systematic education – provide opportunities tailored specifically for members to enhance their knowledge and skills (clinical, translational and patient perspectives).
• Exchanges – facilitate the exchange of members between groups, fostering collaboration and the sharing of innovative ideas across our network.

Members

Researchers within the network have multidisciplinary backgrounds, including gynaecology, pathology, radiology, molecular biology and pharmacy.

Since the forming of ENITEC, over 130 researchers from across Europe have become involved.
