An exclusive 2 days course for surgeons with early experience in robotic surgery.
The course combines a hands-on workshop, theoretical lectures at the IRCAD training centre in Strasbourg, France and online video session.
The course is organized by ESGO in collaboration with SERGS, the Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgery.
The course aims to improve the knowledge and skills of surgeons on procedures in gynaecologic cancer by robotic approach (Da Vinci Si or Xi).
The ideal profile of the course candidate is a young surgeon with early experience in robotic surgery that meets the following requirements:
The robotic course is a 2 days workshop in Robotic Gynaecological Oncology Surgery, offering candidates a unique opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills, including:
Participation is compulsory throughout the course. The course will be conducted entirely in English.
Live surgery transmission will be held on November 7.
The course combines a hands-on workshop, theoretical lectures and video sessions at the IRCAD training centre in Strasbourg, France.

» Limited space of 12 participants - enabling 3 attendees to be around one robot during the hands-on training
As a result of the inherent limited space, the 12 participants will be selected with respect to geographical balance of countries and regions as well as level of experience judged by the committee, according to the brief description of professional background provided during the application process.
The participants will be selected by the joint committee of ESGO and SERGS. Confirmations will be made upon selection by the Applications Committee.
