ESGO Committees structure provides effective and efficient structure as well as in-depth knowledge and resources to support the ESGO mission and implementation of the
Strategic plan.

Nominating Committee
Provides a slate of candidates for the elected positions in the Society and ensures that the candidates provide the widest European geographic balance. Nominating committee supervises the entire electoral process.

Financial Committee
Oversees the financial performance of the Society and reports to Council on different financial matters of the Society. It prepares the annual association’s budget and monitors its execution including proposal for corrective actions.

Meeting Committee
Supervises and provides management of the biennial meetings together with the congress Chair and serves as congress scientific programme committee. The Meeting committee seeks for new ESGO meeting formats and provides guidance in ESGO involvement in partner’s meetings. A small subcommittee for Workshops and endorsed meetings is part of the Meeting committee.

Membership Committee
Examines and oversees all aspects of membership of the Society including recruitment of new members, retention of members, membership benefits and fees, recruitment drives and special offers. The committee considers the needs of underprivileged areas of Europe and how the ESGO might respond to these.

Education Committee
Initiates, oversees all educational activities and implements the educational mission of the Society with the aim to increase educational and information resources for members.

Guidelines Committee
Initiates and implements the Society’s goal to write shared evidence based guidelines (standards of care) of gynaecological cancers.

Training and Education Committee
Oversees the ESGO certified training and accreditation process, provides opinion and recommendations on hospital visits and certifications. Implements the Society goals to be the coordinated body that sets multidisciplinary standards for gynae oncological training across Europe. A subcommittee for Grants and Fellowship is part of the committee.

Research Committee
Initiates, supervises and implements the Society’s research activities that aim to fulfill objectives of ESGO as a facilitator of European clinical and translational research in gynae oncology. Coordinates research related networks and facilitate activities of ENGOT (European Network of Gynae Oncological Trial Groups) and ENTRIGO (European Network of Tranlational Research in Gynae Oncology).
