ESGO has established a series of Travelling Fellowships open to ESGO members, to improve patient care through training, research and sharing technologies between the member nations of ESGO.
A particular emphasis is placed on proposals aimed at developing gynaecological oncology in Eastern European countries. A total value of 20,000 Euros is allocated each year.
Please note that applications for 2010 are open.
The ESGO Travelling Fellowships involve working in different member nations of ESGO and striving to improve the situation there - either by teaching or learning new clinical techniques, undergoing research, or setting up training programmes.
The different criterias to apply for a travelling fellowship are:
- All ESGO members are eligible to receive the fellowships
- Fellowships vary in duration from a minimum of one month, to a maximum of 3 months - ESGO strongly encourages travelling fellowships of a duration of 3 months.
- Funding will be allocated as follows:
- 1 month: 1,500 Euros
- 2 months: 2,500 Euros
- 3 months: 3,500 Euros
