ESGO-EBCOG Hospital Accreditation
In collaboration with EBCOG (European Board and College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists), ESGO has set up formal guidelines for the Subspecialty Training Programme according to the European Accreditation in Gynaecological Oncology.
According to European Standards, ESGO runs accreditation visits certifying those European Centres in Gynaecological Oncology that train clinicians. Recognised centres are authorised to provide certified training of European Gynaecological Oncologists.
Until January 1, 2010, ESGO recognises retrospective trainings. Fellows clearly trained in accredited centres, even if their training started before the centre has been certified, are eligible to receive an official certification diploma.
Trainees interested in accredited European training are asked to contact directly certified training centres. Training Centres provide information about fellows under the European training to ESGO.
