ESGO Workshops

The promotion of educational activities is one of the main tools to achieve high standards of professional care for Gynaecological Oncology and one of the main missions of ESGO.

ESGO focuses its activities on the final objective of improving the quality of care of patients with gynaecological cancer all over Europe, paying special attention to regions where facilities and education are lacking. A limited number of locally run projects are organized in European lower-income countries in close cooperation between ESGO and a local partner (Society/hospital/institution). They are organized as special Workshops on Gynaecological Oncology and supported by ESGO both financially and logistically. The Scientific programme is prepared by the local organizer in respect to the specific local needs. ESGO is committed to bringing high level European speakers to spread and share knowledge with the local audience.
