Dear Colleagues,

The biannual ESGO Meeting has become a landmark in the world of Gynaecologic Oncology. Herewith I would like to invite you to participate in the 15th Congress of the Society, which will be held in Berlin, Germany, October 28 – November 1, 2007.

The field of Gynaecology and Obstetrics is part of a medical structure, which is rapidly changing. In Europe, new members of the EU are adapting their systems towards European standards, others will follow. European specialization and training in Gynaecologic Oncology have been successfully initiated by ESGO.

According to the mission statement of ESGO, the society will not only lead Europe in clinical and scientific education, but will also promote communication with scientific and professional individuals and organizations within Europe and worldwide. The ESGO Congress has always proven to be an excellent platform for the realization of these aims.

Berlin, symbol of the unification of Europe, will be the ideal location for scientific, medical, and political exchange and discussion. The city today, restored as the capital, is also the heart of Germany. Grand buildings, glorious museums, and the fascinating sights of a modern boom-town await you.
