Travelling Grants: Information and application

Eligibility
Members of ESGO

Duration of Fellowships:
Minimum 1 month / Maximum 3 months

Requirements

• The Fellowships must involve a visit by an ESGO member from one gynaecological oncology centre in a member nation of ESGO to another.
  
  
• The visit must have the potential to lead to a benefit in either the country being visited or the country of origin of the fellow.
  
  
• There are no restrictions on the activity performed during the Fellowship but examples of the type of applications expected are:
  • To teach a clinical technique
    
  • To learn a clinical technique
    
  • To plan a research collaboration
    
  • To learn a research technique
    
  • To set up a training programme
    
    
• ESGO is particularly keen to assist the development of gynaecological oncology in Eastern Europe and to develop links between Eastern and Western European countries. This could involve visits from West to East or East to West as appropriate for the purpose of the fellowship.

Funding
Fellowship will be granted according to the duration of the program:

• 1 month: allocation of 1,500 Euros
• 2 months: allocation of 2,500 Euros
• 3 months: allocation of 3,500 Euros

How to apply:
The application form must include

• Details of applicant including CV

• Description of purpose of visit and why it advances the objectives of the ESGO Fellowships (up to 400 words)

• Explanation as to why the host institution has been selected and is suitable (up to 150 words)

• Letters of support from applicants institution and institution to be visited
