Cancers of the breast, ovary, cervix and uterus are claiming the lives of one woman in Europe every 4 minutes.
ESGO believes that early detection, improved risk predictors and better prevention will make a difference. ESGO is also confident that investment in education will give women with cancer the best possible care.
Thanks to its generous contributors ESGO is able to :
- Provide fellowship grants to young doctors who need to be trained abroad
- Support more than 10 regional meetings and workshops every year that educate over 2,100 gynaecologists across Europe
- Develop online innovative material so that young gynaecologists can have access to education from anywhere
- Fund networks that bring together scientists, clinicians and patients to predict, prevent, detect and treat women's reproductive cancer
