Workshops on Gynaecological Oncology

The promotion of educational activities is one of the main tools to achieve high standards of professional care for Gynaecological Oncology and one of ESGO's key missions.

ESGO focuses its activities on improving the quality of patient care in Europe, paying special attention to regions where facilities and education are lacking. A limited number of locally run projects are organised in European lower-income countries in close cooperation between ESGO and a local partner (Society/ hospital/institution). They are organised as special Workshops on Gynaecological Oncology and supported by ESGO both financially and logistically. The Scientific Programmes are prepared by the local organisers in respect to specific local needs.

ESGO is committed to bringing leading European speakers to these Workshops to spread and share knowledge with local audiences.

The most important aspect for the success of ESGO Workshops is the involvement of the local organiser.
