The European School of Abdomino-pelvic Surgery in Gynecologic Oncology – ESAGON – is opening up its lecture hall and operating rooms to a wider audience. The Masterclass will feature live surgery demonstrations of radical hysterectomy, pelvic and paraaortic lymphadenectomy with a focus on practical performance, instrumentation and tips as well as surgical and neural anatomy. Techniques for trachelectomy and pelvic exenteration performed entirely with the da Vinci system will be demonstrated. Included in course agenda is a one day practical training of pelvic and paraaortic lymphadenectomy with the da Vinci system in a live porcine model as well as training of docking and port placement alternatives.

This meeting follows the 60th Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists Study Group involving experts from the UK and abroad. The aim of the meeting is to present the cutting edge of basic, translational research and clinical trials. The European Society for Medical Oncology and Rare Cancers Europe have joined forces to present the first Conference addressing the scientific and educational needs of relevant stakeholder groups concerning challenges and potential solutions in the field of clinical research on rare cancers. Conference offers an opportunity for a wide variety of stakeholders to identify barriers to implementing effective and efficient methodology in clinical research on rare cancers, and to debate scenarios for solutions.

The goal is to provide a comprehensive overview of current medical therapy of soft tissue sarcomas and GIST, with a focus on both multidisciplinary clinical approach and molecular and pathological bases of these diseases

The Masterclass in benign gynecological surgery will feature live surgery and/or prerecorded unedited video demonstrations of simple and extraperitoneal hysterectomy, myomectomy, sacrocolpopexy, uterocolpopexi, repair of lateral vaginal wall defects and robotic surgery in advanced PID with a focus on practical performance, instrumentation, tips and tricks as well as surgical anatomy.

IMPAKT is a unique Breast Cancer Conference bridging the gap between research and clinic while also providing the right environment for young professionals to network with and access the knowledge of their senior counterparts.
