In the beginning of 2011, ESGO leadership initiated strategy planning process to ensure ESGO’s sustainability and continuous development as an active resource of knowledge, information and collaboration for its members and all professionals in the field of gynaecological oncology.
The main findings and selected key objectives were presented by Professor Ate GJ van der Zee, the immediate past President, at the Presidential Session and Business meeting during ESGO17 2011 congress in Milano.
One of the first immediate tasks of the new Council 2011-2013 was to establish an effective and efficient structure of committees that will enable to fulfil the goals.
